4 Days of Dance
To celebrate National Dance Week, Hillsborough Community College Dance Program and the School of Visual and Performing Arts hosted 4 Days of Dance, a performance series celebrating the diversity of dance in Tampa Bay. The event began on Wednesday April 17th and continued through Saturday April 20th.
HCC students performed with various guest dancers. Several pieces were choreographed by HCC dance students.
The Dance Club invited local dance companies, studios and groups to share the stage with the Hillsborough Community College Dance Program for four unique dance performances.
One of the performers, Zoe Gallon, is a second year dance student at Hillsborough Community College and has 15 years of dance training under her belt. She was excited about the event. “We have dance ensembles performing ballet, ragtime from the 1920’s, jazz, modern dance and also contemporary modern pieces,” Gallon said.
