Jessica Bartels is a Staff writer of The Hawkeye.
Jessica Bartels was born in Tampa, Florida. The 2005 Gaither High School graduate is a mother of three girls. She came to Hillsborough Community college in 2010 to earn an Associate’s in the Arts degree in Mass Communications. In the spring 2014, Bartels plans to attend University of South Florida. She plans to pursue a career in journalism but her future may include her passion for teaching. In his spare time, she spends time with family and writes. She also enjoys reading, watching movies, cooking, and volunteering the community.
